First let M.E. say that I know, I know..... I'm really behind and you are probably getting sick and tired of coming here and finding nothing new. Many apologies, right Aunt Du-dah!
So we've been busy. I've been busy. And it just seems like I've never got the camera when I need it or rather don't run to get it, so I've not got any great pics to share. However I will begin today to retrace the last week (I have post-it notes) so I can catch everyone up on the goings-ons around here.

Lazy Day!
I woke this morning with some major sinus pressure, sneezing and runny nose. Yuck.
After church, the Man and Grandpa got ambitious and hung up the Christmas lights. Awesome!

It does feel more like the holidays with every little thing we do to get ready for Christmas. I've not really worked on my December Daily album, but as soon as I do I'll post it.
Later in the afternoon the Man and Buddy would take a drive scouting for ducks and LG would miraclously take a self-induced nap, so I laid on the couch and watched a chick flick on tv completely uninterupted. I have no idea when the last time that happen or now that I think about if it has ever happened. So hey, I had a quite, relaxing and pleasant Sunday afternoon.

Basketball Season has begun!
Can you believe I forgot my camera this morning? My scatter-brainess is getting worse and worse. They say its can be induced by pregnancy but I'm beginning to wonder if I'm loosing my marbles.
But we did manage to get the whole family there, with Buddy in uniform and I had snacks. So I remembered almost everything. Buddy played the 2nd and 4th quarters and made 1 of about 6 shots, scoring a total of 2 points. Long story short, we lost 11-28. However it wasn't too disappointing because our kids tried hard and the other team was near professionals. Rumor has it they practice four nights a week. Yes, 4 nights a week and they are first graders. Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't care if we lose every game, I will not be at the gym every night killing the little spirits of our players for a winning season.
Buddy had a blast of course, but seriously needs to be more aggressive in rebounding the other teams missed shots instead ours.
Back home I made some cookie dough that Nana would cook up later today. Then we headed over to our friends Brian and LeeAnn's for her birthday party. Then back home to cook for that famiy with the new baby. It was a busy day and I'm exhausted.

We didn't have any glasses the cookies would fit into so he improvised with little pampered chef bowl. Which actually worked out better because he didn't waste a bunch of milk and it was a pretty awesome end to our busy day, not to mention snuggling on the couch.
Buddy discovered that a Harry Porter marathon was on tv, so he, LG and I snuggled up on the couch in our pajama and watched them. It was really hard not to kiss and squeeze extra tight thinking of my cousin and her daughter in the hospital. The news today, is that they will begin testing the family (she has 3 brothers) for a bone morrow match. For those of you with kids and nieces & nephews, hug them one extra time tonight for M.E.

MUCH, MUCH NEWS TODAY!
I took the boys to school today and immediately headed out shopping. I seriously want to get what little christmas shopping I have over with as soon as possible, so I made two quick stops, Best Buy and Walmart. That's all the hints I'm giving.
I also had to do a big grocery shop because its our turn to cook for a family with a new baby. Our school has this really cool program for when a family has a new baby, people get to sign up to cook them supper for the next couple of weeks/months. This particular family was the first family that invited us into their home and befriended Buddy and LG, so we were so going to sign up to cook. Fortunately we weren't the only ones, they have meals planned for 6 nights a week for 3 months!!! How amazing is that, well this is their 5th baby. The Man says he can't wait for our baby to get here, so he can get all this different and new food delivered to our house. HaHa!
I also got a phone call that there was a cancellation at the allergist and if LG wanted to come in early he could. Well, yes! I want to figure out what is causing the allergic bronchitis, so I headed to school to pick him up early and head to the allergist.
Let M.E. make this clear, we were there for 3 and half hours. Yes, a whole 210 minutes. I was getting stressed as was LG sitting in this little room that was about 100 degrees. And do you know how hard it is to keep a 4 year old from scratching his arms after they have been poked with 30 itchy things after having sat in said room for 2 hours? It was not fun. Fortunately, he was a trooper and the nurses were very impressed with his composer and offered him much candy.
The verdict.
He is allergic mainly to DUST and little bit to Mold. As I've said earlier posts I really wanted to avoid medicine so the doctor was ok with M.E. not going the zrytec route. We are going to be getting the hypo-allergenic pillow and matteress covers, I will be vaccumming his room everyday he is at school at least an hour before he comes home until we can get the carpet up, and really trying to watch what he is into and avoid stirring up dust. With this said, I'm going to really try, although I'm not known for my house keeping skills, but for him, I'll do anything.
In other BAD NEWS.... I was talking with my sister, Aunt Cream, about LG's experience at the allergist and she told M.E. that my little cousin, Raven, who is 16, was diagnosised with luekemia yesterday and is already at St. Jude's-Memphis undergoing chemo. I could break down and give you a million reasons why this should not have happened to her or her family, but the Lord only knows and all we can do is pray. PLEASE PRAY. It is already quite extensive and looks very, very scarey. We will know more in the coming days and I will keep you posted. Pray for comfort and strength for all those who are suffering.

I'm so behind. I usually have them done in September or October, but this year it just didn't happen, so I've got about a dozen done. ugh! It kinda takes the fun out of making them when the deadline is luming. But here's a snick peek!

Our First Project
Last night was a long one. LG was up most of the night with growing pains in his legs again. Bless his little heart, he really was hurting. At one point I got him up to go to the bathroom and you could see the muscles in his legs were tight and flexed. All I could do was rub them and try to comfort him, but needless to say, the Man and I both had a rough night.
Fortunately, Buddy and I worked on our first Christmas project tonight. A Christmas Tree Countdown.

Sorry the lightning is bad, but when I had the flash on, it reflected too much off the bling, but I think you can still see how cute it is. I got the glitter foam sheet from hobby lobby and I've had those sequence for awhile now, so it make for cute ornaments. Buddy wrote the numbers for each day and I stapled them together. Love it!

December Daily Album pages 14 - 21
I've worked more on my album getting it ready and with the first day of December I really need to focus on what we are doing today as well, so I can record it there.
But first a peak at my pages....
Day 14 - This page I made from a laminator sheet. Needing something different for the album, I took a 8.5x11 self-laminating page proctor and sprinkled it with green glitter before sealing it. Its a little bumpy because of the glitter but I think it'll work ok for what I need. I also cut it in half so I'd have two pages for the album.
Day 15 - a red holly patterned paper that measures about 6x8
Day 16 - This is another baseball card page protector with a tag with the number 16 in a pocket.
Day 17 - A really cool sheet of silver glitter paper. I love it.
Day 18 - A more traditional 8x8 page with vintage paper.
Day 19 - A skinny sheet of black cardstock with a row of tags along the edge for journaling. I really like the bling of the jeweled snowflake. On the back of page 18 is a sticker border. I really liked it and wanted to add it to the album immediately, I think it looks great here. The 19 is rub-ons.
Day 20 - A clear page protector, but instead of leaving it clear, I left the white insert in.
Day 21 - This is one of my favorite pages although its hard to see in the pic. Its another baseball card protector. Along the left hand side I staples several see-thru/vellum embellishments creating a very festive border to the page.
