Babe newest trick!
Climbing onto chairs!
After LG finished his homework, Babe quickly climbed up into his chair to play in the mess! I'm not thrilled about this newest skill - just means clearing the table top more quickly!
He's even venturing to get on the table. Although for some perspective, LG was doing this at like 9 months - the climber!

Home on the Range!
We are back in OK!
Managed it in one long drive which left us all worn out but at least we got to sleep in our own beds last night. Wonderful!
I've managed to get cold or allergies not sure. Sneezing and running nose last night and today! Babe got home with a fever. He was complaining with his ear in KY so it's no surprise I got him a doctors appointment this afternoon. After that I promised the big boys $10 each to spend at Toy R Us for being wonderful in the car yesterday.
They have always been wonderful travelers. But it just seemed to go extra well yesterday! They both sat in the backseat, which we normally don't do (they tend to touch each other or stare at each other until someone gets mad). And they actually played games together for many miles with out fighting. It was grand! So I will reward them with toys that they don't need!!! LOL!
Happy to be home - even if it's 103 degrees outside!

Everything but the Apple Pie!
Happy Fourth!
Last night we went to a minor league baseball games complete with good times, good food and fireworks!
The boys really enjoyed themselves and a thunderstorm blew just north of us to cool everything down for most of the game. It was great until at the end of 9 - it was tied 2 to 2.
Only Babe minded the extra innings. These guys had a blast
Sman and Buddy.
LG ate the entire game. Quickly consuming an entire cotton candy by himself, peanuts, more than one hot dog- then part of a funnel cake. A lady sitting behind us laughed as she suggested we check his blood sugar level!!! I was afraid he'd be sick, but he did fine. We are on vacation after all.
Babe wanted to play on the stairs the extra innings, so the Man, Aunt Cream and ME took turns with him. We would loose 5-3 in the 12th
Fireworks were really good and we got home about midnight!
Baseball and Fireworks, like the title, everything but the apple pie for an all-American night out!

Waterpark
The Man is flying in to Louisville tonight so we all decided to come up this way and spend the night in a hotel. Our choice - one with a water park. A very small great wolf lodge.

Putt Putt and Fireworks
Yesterday, Aunt Cream took off work so Buddy decided we should go play putt-putt.
He takes his game very seriously.
This guy was pretty good and managed to putt two hole-in-ones!!!
The weather was great sunny but only in the upper 80s. We have been very lucky with nice weather this trip.
Babe hung put with Uncle Cola. Yep, Uncle finally got a nickname this trip. Babe has been his best friend since we got here and I found out that he was giving him sips of this coke. OMG. Of course, Babe loves that sugar and caffeine. Thus we have aunt Cream and Uncle Cola. Too funny!
After golf we got a bite to eat and stopped at one of Uncle Cola's friends shop and got a bunch of fireworks.
Buddy wasn't sure about helping with fireworks, nor was I, but he had to be a part of the action and managed to get some bottle rockets through the air.
Pretty fun day which ended with a cookout with Papaw's brother and his wife, Aunt Jean, and her daughter & girls. It was so nice to see them all and visit.
Looking forward to more fireworks Monday!!
