Last Day of School for Buddy

I can't believe it's finally here- the last day of school.  

Seriously where does the time go! 

Not only is it the last day of school but the last day of elementary school.  He will be a middle schooler in a matter of hours.  

I may cry. 

And not only the last day of school but the last day at this school.  An opportunity to join LG at his school opened up and Buddy having a sibling at the school was able to shadow and interview for a spot.  After much discussion and pray, we (as a family) decided to make the move. *sigh*

It is bittersweet leaving this school that has literally been our home for the last 6 years. But we are all very excited for the new opportunities.  

So proud of you Buddy and hope we have a great summer- starting with 50cent come dogs and 1/2 price slushies at sonic today!

One more day and this two becomes three and summer vacation can begin! 

Baseball Tournament

Earlier today LG's baseball team played in the championship game of their weekend tournament.  

They placed 2nd out of 8 teams and he had a great weekend.

9 hits

3 strikeouts

3 pop outs
