Me, too!

While watching the olympics. I snapped this pic of the big boys and of course Babe had to climb up on the coach and say, "me, too".

Chicken Marinara

Headbanz

Yesterday, Buddy and I went school shopping. We got everything he needed and a few extras. One such item was the game headbanz.
You place a clue on your headband and have a limited time to ask yes/no questions to figure out what you are. It has been the most fun. Some of them are really hard and others really funny. LG is still learning how to ask the right kinds of questions and watching him think is hilarious!!! We will playing this a lot.

In Honor of the Olympics

I am very excited for the Olympics to start tonight officially. It is so awesome to watch and somewhat feel a part of and of course Buddy really gets into it. I personally like Winter better but I'm not complaining.
In Honor of the opening ceremonies tonight, I'm going international with supper. Goulash! Yep, German stew.
I've made it twice before and it wasn't bad, but I made it on the stove top- whereas tonight it's in the crockpot stewing. Yum.
GO USA! And here's to peaceful events!
PS. The package is authentic German. We got it at a local sausage shop with lots of cool German food.

We needed something to do...

So we decided after Babe's nap to wash the van. It's safe to say that there's a very clean stripe all the way around the van about waist high.
Babe was alittle afraid of the waterhose at first but quickly wanted to mimic his brothers and got drenched!
At least it doesn't feel over 100 at the moment!

I Spy...

We've been playing lots of games this summer with the temperatures over 100 each day.
Buddy is obsessed with the game CLUE, LG's favorite is UNO and today I discover out I SPY game in the closet and got it out for Babe. He did really well and we had a lot of fun making matches. He felt like such a big boy too playing a really game with ME.

Thanks Buddy for snapping some pictures with my phone!

If only the blog had sound....

LG has learned the new trick of blowing threw a straw that's rooted in the armpit, thus creating a very realistic sound of passing gas! Anything gastrointestinal is fantastic with this guy!

Movie Night

We rented the Big Miracle last night!
It's about a true story of a whale rescue in Alaska in the 80s. Fantastic family movie. I seriously wish Hollywood would make more movies like this that the whole family can enjoy!

Art Camp Concludes

The boys both participated in our schools art camp this week, from 1 to 3:30 each day. They had a blast and made a bunch of wonderful stuff. The highlight for ME is the ceramics. I've blogged about Buddy's creations before and I cherish them dearly.
Now I have added two more to the collections.
Buddy's Koala and LG's Kangaroo

No one like him

As we sat down to eat, LG put on the Man's shades and proceeded wear them through supper.

What I LOVE about our WA Vacation

LOVED... the cooler temperatures.
We were blessed with cool temperatures and sunny days.  For those in the south and mid-west -- we experienced days that barely got to 65 degrees and some days the sun never came out.  It was bliss to go from 108 in Oklahoma to that nice clean, refreshing air of 60.
LOVED... letting Babe wander and explore on his own.
As per Babe, he loved playing in Nana's goldfish pond.
LOVED... the quiet moments shared between the generations.
The boys all enjoyed lots of snuggles with Nana and Papa.
So grateful we got to spend this time there.
LOVED... how the entire family rallied around this killdeer.
She decided to lay her eggs in the middle of Gramma's driveway. Seriously in the driveway.   So a sawhorse was place there so no one would disturb her.
LOVE... seeing his excitement for the beach.
He loves the beach just as much as his brothers.
LOVED... getting to spend time with with cousins.
All 5 boys managed to balance themselves on the buoy.
This kid was awesome playing whatever game to include all kids of all ages.  A dreamboat.
 LOVED...the sights and sounds.
 LOVE... seeing Buddy read.
Even if it was just to be using the kindle.
 LOVE... this picture.
Good job Hun, getting M.E., you and the scene in both directions.  Fantastic.
LOVED... watching out for Bald Eagles.
Its really cool to see these majesty birds just hanging out.
LOVE... family photos.
This is atop Mt. Eerie, were we had a nice short hike exploring the views.
LOVED... eating fresh salmon.
Its even better when my first born catches his first ever Sockeye.
LOVED... going to the movies with these kiddos.
It was such a great experience to go to the movies and see Brave. Not only was it a great movie, but just being with them and talking and laughing and loving each other was fantastic.  We even stopped at Wendy's for milkshakes. Yummy.
 LOVED... reconnecting
Pace was so loving and interested in Babe, pretty cute stuff.
 LOVE... sleeping children.
There are so cute like this, all worn out and happily dreaming.
LOVE... this little ham.
He so loves a audience and really turned on for his cousins.
LOVED... the parade.
Always a highlight of the trip, the parade was so fun for the kids, especially with all the candy.
LOVED... seeing The Man with his bros.
What a crew!
 LOVED... there's a picture of M.E.
Thanks Randy, for snapping this during our wiffle ball game.
LOVED... playing wiffle ball with all our friends and family.
The highlight of the day was Buddy striking out Uncle J.  It was great.
LOVE... the BWL and the Joe & Arie.
And the fact that we all had matching uniforms for our wiffle ball games.
 LOVED... Babe with his namesake.
LOVE... these three boys so much.
