I'm a winner and what a mess!

Can you imagine my joy and surprise this morning when I opened an email telling me, I, M.E., had won a giveaway from Paula Wessell's blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've only been reading blogs about two months and yes, I spend too much time reading them. But I like to look at it this way, its educational for me. The Man would like to complain, but he knows how many times in our conversations he's heard M.E. say, "I was reading on one of the blogs today.....".

Example it snowed in the northwest and the mid-east coast last week. And I knew this not from the weather channel, but from the wonderful ladies recording their daily life and surroundings on their blogs.

Anyhow, that's really off the subject. This is what I really wanted to share. I enter at least 4 or 5 give away contest each week, and this week I won!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WON!!!!!!!
This is what Paula's blog said:

Daily Routine - Relaxing The WINNER is: SARAH (bluhmfamily)!!! Contact me at paula@bigpicturescrapbooking.com

ok, so its not super fabulous, but my name is on someone else's blog and that's just awesome! I'm receiving some of her favorite teas, a great mug, and this book.

I have almost purchased this book before, so I'm super stoked about receiving it. I hope it gets here before we leave on Spring Break, so I can read it on the road.

In other news, the Man and I have agreed to read even more books to the boys. So I'm really making an effort throughout the day to sit down several times a day and read a book or two with Little Guy. Today, we managed several reading sessions and I must say it felt wonderful. However the mess that was made in the process was not wonderful. To me, children's books are one of the hardest things to keep organized and neat. They always tend to look like this at our house.

This awesome pie safe was purchased to hold their clothes. And it served that purpose wonderfully for about 4 years, I could open it with one hand and grab all the essential for dressing a child with a few swipes of the hand, no drawers, no digging, no mess.

However, the book mess became a bigger mess, so I decided to put them behind clothes doors of the pie safe so I didn't have to look at it.
Its really hard to close the doors when the books spill out every direction. But it only takes Little Guy a few seconds to re stack and start all over again, so it's working, sort of.
