Buddy wanted to ride his bike, but Little Guy is still too wild on his to get him out on the street, so he was walking with the Man and I.
The surprise was Sonic! I discovered it last week coming in the back way to our neighborhood. I had no idea up until then it was there. A very pleasant surprise for M.E. and the boys. I like how Buddy parked his bike.
There's nothing better than Sunshine and Ice Cream. Here Buddy shares his strawberry shake with Little Guy.While eating our desserts, Buddy quietly gets up and walks off.
M.E, "Get back over here! Where do you think you are going? You'll get run over by a car!"
Buddy, "I gotta get something"
M.E. "what?"
Buddy returns with a $20 bill. WHAT????
After asking everyone at Sonic if it was theirs, we were in a dilemma. Do we let him keep it or do we turn it in? I'm not sure what to do here. I know if I found it and no one claimed it, I'd probably keep it, but as a parent do I let my son do this? The Man too was at a loss what to do. We finally decided he could bring it home, but it was not all his. He would have to share it with his brother or give it away. He said he didn't care what he did with it, it was just really cool he spotted it in the parking lot. I think, he's giving it to church next week. What a kid!
After leaving with full bellies, we really weren't ready to head home so we walked a few blocks north toward the park. Little Guy wanted to help Buddy ride his bike.
After about two more blocks, Little Guy needed a lift.
Then he needed to ride the bike for awhile.
We swung on the swings, slid on the slides, and climbed on the monkey bars. All this tuckered the boys out.
M.E. gave him a lift and he almost fell asleep! Ah, the joy of a Sunday afternoon!
