Walking to the Creek

The boys still had school in KY. They are having to make up several weeks of school due to the ice storm in January. So the afternoon bus was much anticipation by my boys. This afternoon we went for a walk on the farm after supper. Buddy, Niecey and Sman.

The family has the majority of the farm in a federal program to restore it to a habit for native fowl. Last year they had it sowed with native grasses and flowers. Here's a beautiful purple daisy that's come up with the other weeds.

Of course, the Little Guy got tired of walking and hitched a ride with Aunt Cream.
