Quiet Sunday

So we spent the majority of yesterday out at the lake. I didn't take any pics, because soon they are all going to look the same. Actually they already do, but as usual we had a blast. I actually managed to make myself get in the water this time and it was nice. You could probably go out 100 feet before it was over your head (well, my head) and its was so warm. We had really good company too. The Man's assistant coach in tee-ball this year and his family. The wife and I have so much in common and really are going to be good friends, we had a wonderful time talking and getting to know one another better.

The highlight of the day, however, was Buddy. Early on, when I got in the water, he and I were wrestling around and he managed to knock my sunglasses off my face and into the water. Imagine that! Well, when I felt around M.E. in the sand, I couldn't find them. Buddy and the Man helped but we could not locate my sunglasses. I was not happy about this. I love sunglasses. I don't do well without them. So we continued to look and couldn't find them, so we gave up, chatted for an hour in the water, then headed up to the picnic and played cornhole and the whole bit.
Much later, Buddy begged us to get back in the lake, so down we go and are hanging out in the water and playing. Finally, we were getting ready to get out for the second time, the Man and I are talking about my glasses and how I can't believe I lost them, blah, blah, blah, when Buddy goes, "you mean these" and holds up my sunglasses. What are the odds! Right when we were getting ready to leave, he steps on them in the lake and picks them up. I was so happy. It was fabulous.
Anyhow today, we went to church then out to eat with the Lewallens and home for a quiet relaxing Sunday. The Man harvested his garden.
BEFORE!

AFTER:

Isn't that just awesome!

I played games with the boys most of the afternoon. Look at Buddy's hair color compared to M.E. and LG! Its so blonde.

LG is just starting to get into games and being patience enough to wait his turn. Although Buddy still hates to lose.
We had a really great day!
