With that said, for my birthday, the Man ordered M.E. a "Team Jase" t-shirt which I wear with pride.
We also ordered a family set of Uncle Si tea glasses. I saw these about a year ago at the Bass Pro Shop but they were marked up so much, I couldn't spend $14 for a plastic cup. However on the website, they were only $5, so yes, we ordered a family set.
For those who don't know Duck Dynasty, the Robinson family make Duck Commander duck calls, along with lots of video and duck hunting related stuff. They now have their own reality tv show on A&E, which is hilarious and very family-friendly. No cussing, no drinking, and there's always a family life lesson at the end of each episode. Love it.
On the show, Uncle Si is the Vietnam Veteran who ALWAYS has a gallon of tea and his green tupper ware tea glass. He received this tea glass in a care package from his mother while serving his first tour in Vietnam. He has carried this glass every since.
Seeing the marketing potential with this, they have recreated the glass, (however it is not tupperware, which is a bummer) and are now selling them.
Unfortunately, something went wrong with our order and we only got my shirt right before Christmas. So the Man finally gave up and called Duck Commander and woohoo, they shipped our order.
Like I said, I'm digging my southern culture and am now drinking from a Uncle Si tea glass.
The Man also got a pretty cool cap. I don't think he has actually used his glass, but the boys and I have and love them.
