So yesterday, I received in the mail by semi-monthly magazine, Memory Makers. I've been a subscriber (or rather Mammaw subscribed for M.E.) for over two years now and I really enjoy the magazine because it has a ton of reader's layouts and scarpbooking goodness. So I got my Sept/Oct issue and it informs M.E. that it will be the last issue. WHAT???? There was no hint of this magazine going under. I had no idea. So I read on for a last dose of inspiration, only to find that its full of scrap (on pun intended) articles, a mismatch of layouts and the whole second-half of the magazine was about weddings??????????? I was completely disappointed in the quality of the magazine, I mean, seriously who wants to go out like that. Not I, but then again, I don't publish a magazine. With that said, this is the second of my two magazine subscription to fall by the way side, so I guess its time for M.E. to start my own. haha. real funny.
I had to vent, thanks for listening, ur, reading.
The boys new favorite sandwich is peanut butter on both slices of bread with dill pickles in the middle. I make at least one daily.
The boys are at this very moment in the bathtub (dirty from playing in the sprinkler and mud) and from the sound of it, there will be little water left inside the tub when I go to retrieve them. Good thing the Man's not home.
13 days to school starts!
It has been over a week since LG had an potty accident. woo-hoo!
I received my first comment about the smells of summer.
Fresh Sheets, agreed
Cut grass
Keep the comments coming, thanks Aunt Claire.
Buddy discovered the Cartoon Network today and their having a Tom & Jerry marathon. Buddy was like what is this, then he proceeded to watch and laugh out loud. He and LG were totally hollering they were laughing so hard at a cartoon that doesn't even have words. It made M.E. smile.
Ok, what else is on my mind. I think that's it for now, having homemade pizza for supper tonight, so I need to prep. Sorry no pics. I'll do better tomorrow, oh yeah, that reminds M.E., I will be having a new blog feature tomorrow. Click by to check it out.
Happy Birthday, Brother J.
Summer smell...pool water...lol
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about Memory Makers Magazine. It's a shame it seems like because of the economy there are alot of changes in the scrapbook industry.
