THE PHOTO OF THE DAY!
After pumpkin browsing they kiddos ran through the hay maze, then over to the animals. I really wasn't expecting this to be a hit as Buddy has little to nothing to do with any animal at all, let alone, farm animals. LG, as demonstrated last week, was all up for feeding the goats. Then after some encouraging and seeing brother do it. Buddy tries.
Hey that wasn't so bad, let's do it again.
My Buddy is growing up and overcoming his fears. This was definitely proved by the 4 or 5 bags of feed he went through not only feeding the goats, but ducks and geese too.
Meanwhile LG spotted the ponies and with D wanting to ride them, he got to go for a little ride.
It was actually one of the longest rides ever, as there were no other kids around and the man watching the ponies got a phone call, so the longer he talked the longer the ponies went in circles.
We managed to pick out three pumpkins for carving and look forward to doing so later this week. I guess all the fresh air and farm vibe really got to Buddy because after we got home, he played with the preschool farm set for hours. Yes, hours. It was probably the first time he's touched this since he was LG's age. It was so funny.
