Morning After Mom 'n Me

I was really looking forward to the Mom 'n Me because it was going to be the first activity Buddy and I have got to do together, just us, in like forever. I can't remember the last we did anything by our selves.

With that said, he played with his friends the entire time and I hung out with the Moms and we barely even did anything together. But I'm not complaining, it was still alot of fun but COLD!

The low was in the upper 30s again and I barely slept at all for the wind blowing and worrying about Buddy getting too cold. But he snored all night and slept fine. I was pretty much miserable.

Here's the boys this morning before we loaded up and headed home.

Here's us Moms with the boys right before we loaded up. Most of our group had already left due to the miserably cold temps, but we managed to stay for breakfast and then head out. They may be very unhappy with M.E. for showing this shot, but hey we were camping. For those of you that have never been to OK, here's a little snap shot from the road to camp that show what our little corner of OK really looks like. A lot like KY, but smaller hills and shorter trees.

I led our little group out and here's our mini van caravan as we wait to exit at the front gate. That's Zkid and his mom behind us. I really think the kiddos had a blast. But, I was really glad to get home and get my belly full of warm food, lay in a warm bath, then snuggle in bed. Thanks, hun for letting M.E. take the time recover. I needed it.
